The Southern Coastal
Group is the Regional Coastal Group for central-southern
England, bringing together the neighbouring local authorities and
organisations involved in coastal risk management, including the
Environment Agency.
Our
purpose is to:
give sound advice on coastal issues
be a strong influencer in optimising strategic and sustainable
policies, plans and programmes to
best manage coastal risks
be a natural and chosen forum for coastal practitioners to
discuss coastal defence problems and share best practice.
